Job Summary
Install & Service Technician responsible for performing maintenance and diagnostics on residential and commercial HVAC systems, delivering high-quality customer experiences. Role includes reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, using tools for mechanical and electrical diagnostics, and making repair/replacement decisions. On-call responsibilities include weekends, overtime, and evenings. Job involves in-person service in Wooster, OH with opportunities for advancement, factory/in-house training, and a company vehicle after joining on-call rotation. Strong emphasis on customer service, problem solving, and ongoing learning in HVAC technologies (EPA 608 and NATE certifications preferred).
Required Qualifications
- HVAC experience (Commercial and Residential)
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Clean criminal record
- Drug free
- Professional appearance
- Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiar with tools, mechanical repairs, and electrical diagnostics
- Experience making repair and replacement decisions
- Advanced customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices (preferred)
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques (preferred)
- Experience with MeasureQuick and ServiceTitan (preferred)
- EPA 608 Certification
- NATE Certification
- High school or equivalent required (HVAC trade schooling or experience increases pay range)
