Job Summary
Install Engineer (OMD) will be in charge of OMD installs, primarily responsible for installation activities associated with modifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites. Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site. Assures operational quality of system equipment. Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time. Prepares field service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation to other supporting functions on re-occurring problems. Assists other field service engineers as appropriate. Contributes to capturing, re-use, collaboration, and improvement of knowledge using available systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years Semiconductor, Automotive, or Medical equipment service support experience preferred
