Job Summary
Assemble, pack, and install Rogers Group products at customer locations or on the plant floor, traveling up to 80% of the time. Operate hand drills, tools, and rivet machines to fasten parts using bolts, screws, clips, or rivets while reading blueprints and work orders. Record labor and downtime for each job, ensuring proper fit, function, and appearance meet quality standards. Confers with managers and crew leaders on safety, quality, production, or inventory issues. Maintain all safety regulations to provide a clean, accident-free environment. Requires active driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and certification for TSI, Rogers Athletic, and StageRight installation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, decimal equivalents, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language
- Associates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Practical problem solving, think analytically and work under pressure
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or work order form
- Frequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly
- Must have active driver's license
- Must complete certification criteria for TSI, Rogers Athletic and StageRight installation
- Willing and able to work on production floor when not traveling
- Must be available to travel to installation locations throughout the US at any time necessary to meet customer demands
- Requires significant travel with up to 80%
Desired Qualifications
- Carpentry or building experience is a plus
- Prefer three (3) years of assembly/installation experience on Rogers Group product line
- Manufacturing Pre-Employment Training Certificate is preferred
