Job Summary
Install new garage doors for residential customers by removing existing units, replacing worn parts, assembling mechanical components, and running wiring. Lubricate and test systems for proper functioning while educating customers on upgrades and ensuring satisfaction. Document all installation activities and maintain a professional appearance. This role requires physical stamina to lift 75lbs and stand on ladders, with a preference for candidates who enjoy working autonomously and helping people. The position offers a 4-week paid training program in Phoenix, followed by a $1,000 bonus and progression to junior installer. Starting pay is $36.75/hour plus commission, with weekly pay and access to company vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- 3+ years driving record
- Physically able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
- Physically able to lift 75lbs
- Physically able to lift garage door panels above head
- Able to stand on ladder
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc.
- Knowledge of tablet and computer use
- Reading skills
