Job Summary
Install new garage doors for residential customers by removing existing units, replacing worn parts, assembling mechanical components, installing springs and hardware, running wiring, and lubricating systems. Educate customers on upgraded parts and services, document all installation activities, and ensure satisfaction. The role requires lifting 75lbs, standing on ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You must be 21 with a valid driver's license, possess basic hand tool skills, and be able to read measurements and perform basic math. Complete a 4-week paid training program in Phoenix, AZ, where A1 covers flights and accommodations. Upon graduation, you graduate to a junior installer role with a $1,000 bonus. Required Qualifications
- 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- 3+ years driving record
- Physically able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
- Physically able to lift 75lbs
- Physically able to lift garage door panels above head
- Able to stand on ladder
- Basic knowledge of hand tools (Power drill, hammer, saw etc.)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
- Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc. as well as tablet and computer use
- Reading skills
- Basic math skills (measurements, payments)
- Professional & approachable appearance
- Current eligibility to legally work in the United States
