Job Summary
Inspect fire sprinkler systems, backflow prevention assemblies, and fire alarm systems per NFPA-25 & 72 and other applicable codes. Review projects to monitor compliance with building, safety, and local codes while maintaining proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites. Test the installation and service of integrated systems with exceptional attention to detail. Requires two to three years of inspection experience, valid state driver's license, and NICET Level II certification. Full-time employment with salary ranging from $23.00 to $43.00 based on experience, including overtime eligibility, company vehicle, fuel card, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in inspections of fire sprinklers and integrated systems
- Licensure per state and local requirements
- Knowledge of inspection and testing chemical suppression systems
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Eagerness for professional development and growth
- Ability to pass various background checks
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle
- NICET Inspection, Testing & Maintence Level ll Certification
- NICET certification test reimbursement
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the construction or electrical industry
- General working knowledge of industrial and/or commercial installation methods
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings
- VA DPOR Backflow Cert.
- RME-I Required
- NC Fire Sprinkler Inspection Technician License Required
