Job Summary
Remove yarn packages from the Texturing plant machine and inspect them for defects with strong attention to detail. Tie ends around packages and enter data into the computer to print labels for placement inside the yarn. Pack the yarn packages neatly into corrugated cases. This role requires day or night 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. You must be dependable, safety-conscious, and possess basic computer knowledge. Previous inspection experience is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must be available for 12-hour shifts
- Must be available for day shift (7am-7pm)
- Must be available for night shift (7pm-7am)
- Must be able to remove yarn packages
- Must be able to inspect yarn packages for defects
- Must be able to tie ends of yarn around packages
- Must be able to remove yarn from machine
- Must be able to enter information into a computer
- Must be able to print labels
- Must be able to place labels inside yarn packages
- Must be able to pack yarn packages in corrugated cases
- Must be able to work in a safe work environment
- Must be able to follow processes
