Job Summary
QC Inspector responsible for inspections of SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards; assist in development of procedures, ITPs, and methodology statements; perform progressive inspections, weld mapping, and NDE coordination; review and endorse NDE reports; manage material traceability; compile MDRs with full traceability; provide technical QA/QC support and liaise with client inspection representatives; identify and report non-conformances and drive corrective actions; collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent international certificate
- Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience, including at least 3 years in a QA/QC role on construction projects
- Proven experience managing ITPs, NCRs, quality audits, and QA/QC documentation including traceability and handover packages
