Job Summary
Visually inspect manufactured parts for defects and ensure they meet established quality guidelines. Pack inspected parts according to specified procedures, including proper labeling, trimming, and secure sealing of cartons. Maintain a clean workstation by stacking and wrapping finished cartons neatly on pallets. Report any quality issues with parts or equipment to the designated personnel. Prioritize safety by following all company protocols and wearing appropriate PPE. Use a trim knife safely to remove excess flash from parts. Requires basic math skills, strong English communication, and ability to lift 40 lbs. Full-time or part-time shifts available with training provided for trim knife use.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- basic mathematic skills
- Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
- Ability to understand and follow directions consistently and accurately
- Must be able to maintain a good attendance record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manual dexterity for packing and handling materials
- Ability to sit and/or stand in a stationary position for 40% of a shift
- Ability to walk, with or without an additional weight load
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders for 20% of a shift
- Ability to lift and/or carry 40 lbs. over shoulder height
- Must be able to wear proper protective equipment
- Ability to use a trim knife safely and effectively to remove excess flash from parts (training provided)
