Job Summary
Inspect finished plastic products for defects such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies. Package items according to specifications by selecting appropriate materials and ensuring proper sealing. Label packages accurately with product information and warning labels. Monitor production line efficiency by identifying and resolving packaging issues. Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and maintain a clean work area adhering to safety guidelines. Control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment. Full-time, direct hire position starting at $16/hr with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed
