Job Summary
Mechanical Inspector at AtkinsRéalis responsible for site QA/QC, ensuring contractor compliance with contract documents through observation, measurements and testing; maintaining records of contractor manpower and equipment; supervising inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer/ARE; documenting activities and methods used; reporting on materials delivery and implementing site instructions; applying quality controls and procedures; preparing site measurements and surveying checks; monitoring conformance to quality, performance and code requirements; monitoring health and safety on construction works.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of overall experience in construction supervision, minimum 5 years in MEA
- Experience in consultancy
- Knowledge of Building Codes
- Good knowledge of basic design requirements and mechanical methodologies
- Experience with reporting and documentation in English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
