Inspector - Junior

Job Summary
Under supervision, conduct inspections and tests of petroleum products to ensure compliance with API standards; measure, gauge, and record temperatures in shore tanks and collect samples from barges; perform field calculations; label and deliver samples to the laboratory; document inspection findings and prepare reports for management; evaluate equipment, processes, and safety measures for regulatory compliance; collaborate with the inspector trainer to identify improvement opportunities; willing to work outdoors; 8-12 hour shifts; 4 days on 4 days off; Pasadena, TX area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and quality control processes in petroleum operations
- Strong math comprehension skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in various outdoor environments and adhere to safety protocols
- Fitness for Duty – Physical Demands (8-12 hour shifts; ability to lift up to 50 pounds)
- Pass a Fit for Duty test
