Job Summary
Inspect aerospace components and assemblies to ensure dimensional accuracy using Taylor Hobson, Blue light, CMM, laser tracker, Romer arm, and blueprint-based GD&T. Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections; provide dimensional feedback to machinists and engineers; document and track discrepancies; estimate inspection time; maintain calibration and configuration control; support process improvement; operate in an environment focused on safety and spaceflight readiness.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components
- Laser Tracker Experience
- Blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 standard
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work
- Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, schedules, and operational demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
