Job Summary
The Inspector III position with the Arkansas Department of Health focuses on ensuring facilities, processes, and operations conform to internal standards, industry regulations, and safety or quality guidelines. Responsibilities include conducting scheduled and unscheduled inspections and audits; identifying risks and non-compliance issues; evaluating safety measures and quality control systems; preparing detailed reports with findings and corrective actions; maintaining records; and guiding personnel on compliance best practices. The role requires in-state travel, a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and a license as an Arkansas Master Plumber, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in data management and digital reporting tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in inspections, quality control, internal auditing, or compliance roles.
- Licensure/Certifications
- Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
