Job Summary
Inspector II responsible for overseeing part quality on the molding floor: inspect parts using hand held M&TE and visual methods, compare parts to manufacturing orders, generate NCRs and inspection records, perform First Article and in-process inspections, assist with internal QA audits, train new inspectors, and suggest improvements to QA processes. Requires ability to read aerospace drawings and GD&T, understand work instructions, and work both independently and in a team during Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm shifts; candidate must have strong attention to detail and be proficient in English.
Required Qualifications
- US Person (Citizens or Permanent Residents) per ITAR/EAR compliance
- 1 year relevant work experience
- High School education or equivalent
- Read/write in English
- Ability to read aerospace drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Great attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GD&T
- Willingness to train other inspectors
