Job Summary
Examine semiconductor devices under a microscope for handling, assembly, and test damages using acceptance criteria based on MIL-STD-750 methods. Perform manual and computer data entry on process travelers, SPC charts, and logbooks for lot and equipment tracking. Interact with employees to increase output, reduce waste, standardize work instructions, and improve interdepartmental communication. Engage in daily production operations to anticipate product problems and minimize work hour loss. Create and update technical documents and process specifications while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Respond to customer and regulatory inquiries regarding product flow and workforce needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of inspection experience, preferably working in manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed work specifications
- Adaptability to frequent change and improvements
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential
- Ability to wear the required protective equipment
- Excellent visual capability to work with extremely small devices
- Experience using tweezers, vacuum pencils, etc
- Happily motivated and ability to work well with people
- Aptitude to learn new skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents
- Good hand and finger dexterity to handle die / wafers without damaging them
- Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail
- U.S. citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with acceptance/rejection criteria for semiconductor devices based on understanding of MIL-STD-750 METHOD 2071, 2072, 2073, and 2074 Internal and External inspection criteria
