Job Summary
Conduct incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections to ensure conformance to quality standards and customer specifications. Use precision testing equipment such as CMM, micrometers, and calipers to evaluate dimensions, fit, surface finish, and appearance of complicated equipment, instruments, or parts. Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications to determine production standards and tolerance limits. Complete required records including inspection reports, non-conforming material tags, and return material notices. Analyze inspection results to address production deviations and recommend modifications to quality or production standards. Perform periodic spot checks of parts in progress for adherence to specifications. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 2 years of related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 4 years of related experience
- Metrosoft or PC DMIS experience
