Inspector II - (1st Shift)

Job Summary
Perform periodic visual, dimensional, and functional testing of molded parts and assemblies using pin gages, digital calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators. Enter inspection data into computer files and place defective product on hold per work instructions. Conduct special QA, assembly, and sorting inspections as required, while communicating part or assembly issues to supervisors and QA Management. Maintain good housekeeping and implement measures to prevent environmental pollution. This role requires a high school graduate with at least three years of experience in quality, production, or manufacturing environments, including proficiency with basic mechanical measuring equipment and Microsoft Office. The position is hourly, based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting involving frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Solid computer knowledge: experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be able to communicate in English
- At least 3 years experience in quality and/or a production environment
- At least 3 years experience with basic mechanical and measuring equipment
- At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Physical ability to lift boxes up to 70 lbs
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
- Successful completion of background/criminal check
