Job Summary
Inspect components to determine compliance with HydraForce specifications and document all inspection results using established software programs. Submit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspection and notify supervisors of production problems while assisting in identifying root causes. Record inspection data, follow clean-up procedures, and comply with safety regulations. Perform duties requiring prolonged standing, lifting up to 20 pounds, and working with small parts in a warehouse environment. Requires 1 to 3 years of mechanical inspection experience and proficiency with quality control equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- 1 to 3 years' experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow inspection processes and plans
- Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Some experience with technical specifications and blueprints
- The ability to see details at close range
- Work independently with little supervision
- Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process
- Clear communication
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
- Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds
- Working with small parts
- Repetitive hand/arm use
- Indefinite U.S. work authorization
- Successful completion of a drug screen
- Successful completion of a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges
