Job Summary
Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections of facilities, equipment, or projects to ensure adherence to codes, standards, and safety regulations under close supervision. Documents findings using pre-determined checklists and inspection protocols; prepares inspection reports outlining observations, discrepancies, and recommended corrective actions; maintains accurate records of inspection activities and follows up on issues. Supports coordination and prioritization of inspection tasks under supervision of senior inspectors or quality assurance managers, and communicates results to team members to support corrective initiatives. Demonstrates commitment to learning industry standards and best practices through on-the-job training to develop inspection techniques and regulatory knowledge. Stay informed about emerging practices, tools, or technologies to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license
- Two years of vocational training in construction techniques or building design; Plus three years of experience in construction work
