Job Summary
Perform checks on goods being prepared for packing and dispatch to ensure compliance with company documents, customer contractual requirements, and quality procedures. Execute inspection operations for the acceptance of parts, sub-assemblies, and products, verifying associated build packs, test results, and job compliance records. Raise Non-Conformance Reports, Problem Reports, Concessions, and Production Permits to highlight discrepancies, while identifying and logging faults. Requires UK Eyes-only security clearance and experience inspecting electro-mechanical items.
Required Qualifications
- UK National
- Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats
- Inspection experience on Electro-mechanical items
- Capability to interpret circuit diagrams
- Capability to interpret engineering drawings
- Capability to interpret technical documents
- Knowledge of ESD Protection requirements
- Capability to use production Inspection equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers, Slips, Gauges
- Understanding of wiring and assembly techniques
- Residence in the UK for the last 5 years
- 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years
