Job Summary
Inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, plans, specifications, and workmanship standards. Coordinate daily with the contractor's foreman to report non-conformances, questionable methods, or deviations to the Resident Engineer. Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs), maintain detailed site logs, and coordinate sampling/testing with laboratories to verify line, level, and grade. Support measurement records for Day Works and interface with stakeholders to reduce construction impacts while adhering to site HSE requirements. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and minimum five years of major infrastructure supervision experience in the UAE/GCC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in major infrastructure construction supervision in UAE / GCC
- Ability to read and enforce drawings and specifications
- Strong inspection and documentation skills
- Computer literacy for records, reporting and project systems
- Good communication and coordination skills in a site-based environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience/background in stormwater/wet utilities experience preferred
