Job Summary
Conduct energy testing on new homes, including blower door and duct leakage tests, to measure efficiency and identify improvement areas. Perform site inspections to ensure construction meets building codes and energy standards, then communicate findings and recommendations to builders and contractors. Maintain accurate records of all testing activities while keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes. Drive over 80-120 miles daily with reliable transportation, completing multiple inspections each day. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of employment past seven years. Entry-level position with 100% company-paid healthcare and certification support.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently authorized to work for any US employer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to prove proof of previous employment past 7 years through background check
- Reliable transportation is required to accommodate testing equipment and a ladder
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have state-minimum auto insurance
- Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle report
- Must be able to conduct multiple inspections each day
