Job Summary
Review and interpret drawings, process sheets, operating instructions, and specifications to determine conformance to standards. Maintain accurate daily inspection records and keep work areas and equipment neat and orderly. Perform inspections using various gages and measuring instruments, including extended periods at microscopes or inspection machines, while handling small parts with tweezers. Process associated documents as required and dispose of regulated waste in accordance with federal and state regulations. Complete all assigned tasks accurately with attention to detail. This first-shift role at Timken in Keene, NH, supports improving the efficiency and reliability of industrial machinery.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic math & computer skills
- Some lifting less than 30 pounds
- Ability to sit at microscope / inspection machine for extended periods of time
- Ability to use tweezers handling small parts
Desired Qualifications
- 1-5 years manufacturing experience
- Previous experience with GD&T prints
