Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Inspection Manager in the Fire & Safety industry with a focus on team leadership and organizational skills. Responsibilities include managing inspection schedules, ensuring safety compliance, driving productivity, and maintaining relationships with field supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role
- Leadership, team building, administrative abilities, organizational skills
- Knowledge of local and national Fire & Sprinkler code requirements
- Three (3) years in the Fire & Safety industry
- Proficient with MS Office as well as online systems. Knowledge of Oracle a plus
- Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes
- Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
- Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
- Willing to travel out of town as required by the position
- Successful completion of the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree preferably in a business or engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Three plus years of field supervisory experience
- Ten years in the Fire & Safety industry
- Ability to work in the field at least one day per week
