Inspection Test Technician - North West

Job Summary
Inspect and test generators and associated equipment up to 1250kVA, perform load/unload operations with a forklift, and prepare equipment in the yard and workshop. Complete digital job cards and documentation, comply with Health & Safety procedures, identify faults or non-conformances to supervisors, and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues while working independently or as part of a team. Training is provided and ongoing development is available. Location: Widnes, Cheshire, UK; on-site work with no remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, plant, or equipment testing environment (desirable)
- Forklift truck experience (training available)
- Basic electrical or mechanical understanding
- Experience with digital systems or job management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills through training
