Job Summary
Sales representative responsible for estimating and selling project-related fire protection sprinkler systems and service. This role nurtures project leads from the estimate/budget phase to sales close with existing and new general contractor, owner, and developer partners, utilizing standard estimating tools to provide accurate project proposals and fire protection scope. Requires effective collaboration with the design and operations team, pipeline management, sales budgeting, and prompt/clear communications. Travel within the territory is required. Candidates should have strong prospecting/negotiation skills, the ability to close fire sprinkler sales/contracts, and proven experience building customer relationships. Licensure activity and licensing requirements are supported through robust training programs.
Required Qualifications
- Five years plus experience in the fire protection industry – field, estimating, or design
- Prior sales experience preferably in the fire protection industry
- Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes
- Ability to write strong and concise fire protection scopes for a wide variety of project applications
