Inspection Technician II

Job Summary
Conduct quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various production stages using standard physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements. Analyze statistical data to confirm compliance or identify deviations from established standards, then accurately document results and coordinate test equipment calibration. Rework or reject subassemblies or finished products as required while performing audits to maintain quality standards. Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists, and interpret prints, schematics, and drawings. Requires vocational or technical training with one to two years of experience; ability to lift up to 45 pounds and work with close supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree
- 1-2 years' experience
- Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Oral and written communication skills
- Mathematical skills
- Computer skills
- Technical expertise
- Detail oriented
- Ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- May need to stand for long periods of time
- This position is Safety-Sensitive
