Job Summary
Inspect assembled, semi-finished, and finished products per inspection procedures, drawings, and print specifications. Utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment, gauges, and mating parts to determine as found/as left conditions. Support qualification and validation processes by reviewing product documentation to verify acceptability per specification and QSR requirements. Inspect operators on the operations floor performing various processes and train other inspectors on required tasks. Operate automated inspection equipment such as vision systems and digital comparators to detect nonconformities while performing repetitive inspections. Maintain neat and accurate records with strong documentation skills and relay inspection results clearly. Work independently and in a team setting within a manufacturing or clean room environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0+ years of work experience in related field and/or inspecting product per inspection procedures/drawings and to print specifications utilizing attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges
- Understanding of good manufacturing practices
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and blueprint interpretation
- Must be capable of detecting nonconformities while performing repetitive inspections
- Ability to make product judgments against applicable specifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Must possess good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and/or clean room environment
- Must have good communication skills and be able to relay inspection results in a clear manner
- Schedule is on 3rd shift
