Job Summary
Inspection Assistant role focused on performing emissions, OBD compliance, and other specialized inspections in high-volume BAR Referee locations throughout California. Temporary, 1-year assignment with in-person duties at assigned BAR Referee sites; requires residing in California and ability to work alternative hours at various locations using portable equipment. Strong communication, initiative, and understanding of BAR policies and procedures are essential; familiarity with vehicle emission testing and related codes is preferred. 100% in-person at CA BAR referee locations with remote-first organization supporting statewide remote opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- AA/AS or equivalent work experience
- BAR EO Inspector license
- minimum 1 year related work experience
- knowledge of automobile repair and technology policies and codes
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
