Job Summary
Lead and coordinate inspection and testing activities to support production and business objectives, ensuring valve testing meets international standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Oversee cryogenic testing processes, including setup, safety compliance, and leak detection, while serving as the primary contact for customers and third-party inspectors. Coordinate schedules, witness activities, and documentation to maintain accurate test reports and non-conformance records. Partner with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to improve collaboration and ensure on-time project delivery. This role requires a degree in engineering, proficiency in English and Italian, and experience with standards such as API, ASME, and PED. Located in Lugagnano Val d'Arda, the position offers a competitive salary range of 28,000 to 40,000 EUR annually under the Industria Metalmeccanica CBA.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent education and experience in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, quality, project management.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, standards, and engineering documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Italian.
- Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, customer focus, integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with valve inspection, testing, quality assurance, or industrial manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, EN, ISO, PED, or similar regulatory and technical requirements.
- Experience coordinating customer inspections, witness testing, or project-related activities.
