Job Summary
Inspect and repair electronic assemblies and components by setting up workstations with process instructions, performing in-process and final go/no-go inspections, and identifying defects using microscopes, magnification devices, and automated inspection systems. Handle touch-up and repair activities to meet electrical and dimensional specifications, then adjust or rework materials to achieve required characteristics. Scan products and enter inspection data into shop floor control systems while documenting workload and calculating rejected units. Collaborate with production teams and manufacturing support personnel to communicate quality concerns and ensure products meet customer requirements before shipment. Work Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7:15am (3rd shift).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, quality inspection, repair, rework, or assembly operations in a production environment
- Experience performing visual inspections, defect identification, touch-up, and repair of electronic assemblies and components utilizing established workmanship and quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions, work orders, drawings, visual aids, and inspection criteria to ensure product compliance
- Basic computer skills with experience using shop floor control systems, barcode scanners, production tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications to enter and maintain inspection and production data
- High School Diploma or GED required
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training, electronics coursework, IPC certification, or related manufacturing experience
- Experience operating inspection equipment such as microscopes, magnification devices, and automated inspection systems (AOI)
