Job Summary
Welcome attendees at entrances, pump water at refill stations, and patrol event zones with assigned group mates. Operate two-way radios to perform emergency medical calls, listen attentively for specific requests, and assist distressed individuals. Memorize festival guide information to share with attendees and provide directional support to headliners using megaphones. Locate safe refuge locations prior to show openings and abide by assigned shift schedules. Tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while standing for up to four hours and walking long distances.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using radios
- Ability to work under pressure in stressful environments
- Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
- Must be able to professionally interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner and de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant
- Must be able to stand on your feet for up to four hours at a time and walk long distances
- Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to walk up/down stairs
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
- Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
- Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa
