Job Summary
Junior Production Designer at Insomniac, reporting to the Production Designer. Responsible for assisting design development from pre-production through post-production, creating 3D renderings and technical drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring on-site execution at live events. Requires willingness to travel, nights/weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of working experience as a designer or in a related position
- 3+ years of event coordinating/planning and execution
- Proficiency in 3D software (prefer SketchUp Pro)
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, Apple operating systems, Google Suite, Airtable, Asana, and other programs
- A portfolio showcasing prior design work; must show projects from concept to completion
- Motivated with an 'Everything is possible' attitude
- Active problem solver with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
- Must be able and willing to work nights and weekends and travel (economy) overnight/weekends

Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating SketchUp renderings for event elements and themed areas
- Proficiency with additional 3D modeling/rendering software beyond SketchUp
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Executive Producers, Producers, design teams, and operations) on live events
