Job Summary
Perform load-in and load-out of VIP design elements and props while assisting with custom environment installation and 3rd party vendor operations. Execute basic carpentry, painting, and stage equipment assembly using hand and power tools, and safely operate utility vehicles and heavy equipment. Diagnose faulty operations, repair parts, and maintain VIP assets in a safe, clean manner following detailed drawings and safety regulations. Communicate project updates to crew leads and handle emergency repairs as needed. Requires 8+ hours per day, valid driver's license, and U.S. passport. No sponsorship required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years art department and/or carpentry experience
- Festival and/or film production experience
- Must possess tool kit including basic hand and power tools
- Must possess valid and current driver license and U.S. passport
- Must possess valid and current credit card for hotel incidentals
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift
- Ability to use hand tools, saws
- Must be highly motivated and possess superior interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radio
- Must possess working mobile device, preferably smartphone
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
- Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
- Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
- Must be willing to work 8+ hours per day as needed
Desired Qualifications
