Job Summary
Install and strike various turf projects, perform load-in and out of department equipment and turf materials, and properly use hand and power tools related to turf efficiently. Safely operate heavy equipment when needed, comply with company and OSHA safety regulations, and operate and care for work areas in a safe, clean manner. Identify materials needed to complete installations and project a professional image by working steadily as a team player. Report to the Project Manager or Sr. Director for this non-remote role supporting scenic projects at Insomniac festivals.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) minimum turf installation experience
- valid and current driver license
- valid and current U.S. passport
- ability to operate equipment such as forklift
- ability to use hand tools, saws, etc.. in a safe manner
- highly motivated and possess interpersonal communication skills
- working knowledge of web and mobile technologies
- two-way radio
- working mobile device, preferably smart phone
- lift and move objects weighing 50lbs or more
- move, lift, stand, and work for extended periods of 10-14 hours
- OSHA 10
- willingness to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
- ability to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location
- work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa
