Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, stakebeds, and dump trucks to support festival builds, while signage crews hang perimeter signs and shuttle teams manage headliner bus loading and unloading. Leads direct crew workflows, manage inventory, coordinate with vendors for maintenance, and oversee break times and driver check-ins. Perform tasks in loud, busy environments with long-distance walking and lifting of 50+ lbs, often during holidays, evenings, and weekends. Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report required. Forklift certification mandatory for equipment roles; CDL and earth-moving experience are a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have clean motor vehicle report
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be able to walk long distances for long periods of time, constantly moving and on feet
  • Must be able to life 50+lbs
  • Must be motivated with an "Everything is possible" attitude
  • Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
  • Heavy Equipment certified
  • OSHA cert
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
  • Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa

Desired Qualifications

  • Earth moving equipment and/or CDL certifications and experience are a plus
  • Fork lift certs required
  • Signage Crew does not require fork lift certifications, although they are helpful
  • Signage lead requires some experience in signage or similar departments
  • Exterior leads are experienced in festival builds or comparable experiences
  • Leads can go beyond being told what to build, and can understand why and how
  • Leads may do things like direct the crew in how to safely perform their job
  • Leads may work with a fence vendor to mark out fence lines
  • Leads may manage inventory for loading and unloading of trucks
  • Leads may work with heavy equipment vendors to report maintenance for equipment
  • Leads are typically worked up to following experience working on the crew
  • Shuttle Loader/Unloader: These roles are our most entry level positions, and a great way to get your foot in the door with our team
  • Shuttle Leads can handle the basics of bus loading and unloading, and are able to take on higher level responsibilities
  • Shuttle Leads can manage the shuttle staff break times
  • Shuttle Leads can check in bus drivers
  • Shuttle Leads can ensure buses are running smoothly
  • Shuttle Leads can troubleshoot any issues as they arrive
