Job Summary
Load-in and load-out design elements and props, install custom environments, and assist third-party vendors while following detailed drawings. Perform carpentry, painting, and assembly tasks using hand and power tools, plus operate utility vehicles and heavy equipment. Diagnose issues, replace parts, and maintain VIP assets in a safe, clean manner while communicating updates to crew leads. Work 8+ hours daily in loud, busy environments with frequent travel to events during holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years art department and/or carpentry experience
- Festival and/or film production experience
- Must possess tool kit including basic hand and power tools
- Must possess valid and current driver license and U.S. passport
- Must possess valid and current credit card for hotel incidentals
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift
- Ability to use hand tools, saws
- Must be highly motivated and possess superior interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of web and mobile technologies as well as two-way radio
- Must possess working mobile device, preferably smartphone
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 75lbs
- Must be willing to work 8+ hours per day as needed
- Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa
Desired Qualifications
- Festival and/or film production experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift ect. is strongly preferred
