Job Summary
Conduct initial consultations to assess debtor situations and recommend appropriate insolvency options, including bankruptcies and proposals. Assist debtors and creditors in person and by telephone while reviewing interview forms and preparing files for client signing. Support community outreach, business development, and presentations to promote personal debt solutions offerings. Perform these duties three days per week in the Oakville office and two days in the Milton office, with travel between locations and one evening shift until 7:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years or more in Customer Service, financial services insolvency, banking, credit Counseling, or other relevant area
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, debtors, and creditors
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in various situations
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A team player who can also work independently
- Available to work one evening shift a week until 7:30pm
- This is a new position that requires a regular in-office presence
- work three days per week in the Oakville office and two days per week in the Milton office, requiring travel between the two locations
Desired Qualifications
