Job Summary
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights supporting strategic and operational decision making. Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations enabling leaders to make informed decisions quickly. Partner with Operations, Data, and Technology teams to solve business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions. Monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improving outcomes, efficiency, and overall business performance. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization with clarity and confidence. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and 0-3 years of analytics experience, with SQL and Power BI/Tableau proficiency. The position offers a flexible work program allowing three days onsite in Mississauga, with a total compensation range of $70,400 to $88,000 CAD including bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
- 0 to 3 years of experience in analytics, business analysis, consulting, finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work through complex business challenges
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and actionable business recommendations
- Experience building dashboards, performance reporting, and data visualizations that support business decision making
- All candidates considered for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, credit check, and validation of their work experience to qualify for hire
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, operations, strategy, product analytics, or a similar business environment is considered an asset
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, predictive analytics, AI-enabled tools, Python, R, or other analytical programming languages is considered an asset
