Job Summary
Insider Threat Investigative Analyst needed to support DOE-In contract in the Washington, D.C. area. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive all-source analysis to support a national-level insider threat mission, aggregating and evaluating diverse data sources to assess risk, extracting data to build metrics and reports, conducting research to support ongoing analytic insider threat efforts, producing situational awareness and warning reports for government representatives, and performing editing and quality control of program products. The role requires effective written and oral communication, ability to present findings, and experience with insider threat data management. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees or certifications such as CCITP or CISSP. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 with standard benefits; position is governed by applicable labor and employment terms.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the social sciences, criminal justice, national security, or a related field
- Eight (8) or more years demonstrated experience conducting all-source analysis or investigations in support of government or private sector Insider Threat Programs (ITP)
- Expert knowledge and experience in assessing risks, tracking trends, implementing best practices, identifying barriers for compliance, compiling metrics, and ensuring quality and timeliness of insider threat reports
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Extensive experience with Insider Threat databases for record-keeping, data mining, and analysis purposes
