Job Summary
Provide customer-facing support for hydraulic and industrial hose products, assisting clients with inquiries and identifying correct fittings for their applications. Assemble, inspect, and test hose products of various sizes and pressure classes while preparing quotations and processing orders through customer procurement systems. Maintain organizational proficiency to handle basic accounting tasks related to sales, including invoicing and inventory control. This role supports drilling, production, and marine operations across Atlantic Canada using industry-leading brands like Parker and Contitech.
Required Qualifications
- Certification and previous experience in a similar field with an in-depth knowledge of hose assembly techniques for high- and low-pressure assembly products from 1/8' to 6'
- Certification by hydraulics and industrial hose manufacturers
- Solid knowledge of the Parker brand of hydraulic and fluid connector products
- Customer-facing and inside sales experience in preparing quotations, and processing orders
- Positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiar with basic accounting (invoicing, quoting, purchasing, inventory control etc.)
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Experience with Sage considered and asset
