Job Summary

Inside Sales Travel Consultant role focused on selling travel packages to prospective travelers. Responsibilities include converting leads into bookings, proactive outreach via phone/email, managing a CRM-based pipeline, following up with inquiries, building relationships with travelers, collaborating with marketing/operations to boost conversion, and meeting/exceeding sales targets and revenue. Requires experience in group travel, escorted tours, packaged vacations, or leisure travel sales, plus proficiency with reservation systems and outbound outreach.

Required Qualifications

  • Background working with a tour operator, travel agency, cruise company, or vacation provider.
  • Experience in selling from a catalogue of group tours and extensive inside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
  • Demonstrate ability to convert leads into bookings.
  • Experience with Reservation Systems and inputting new reservations.
  • Comfortable making outbound/cold calls and persistent follow-up.
  • Strong customer service and professional communication.
  • Understanding of travel sales process including deposits, payments, and decision-making.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple leads and conversations simultaneously.
