Job Summary
Lead and coach the Inside Sales team to deliver a world-class customer experience. Manage a personal book of inside sales accounts including quotes, order entry, customer communication, and order follow-up while partnering with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Outside Sales to resolve issues and improve service levels. Drive onboarding and training for ISR associates on systems, products, customer service expectations, and standard operating procedures; maintain accurate CRM/ERP documentation; participate in interviews and provide feedback on ISR candidates. Monitor team workflow, prioritize customer requests and backorders, and support delegated managerial responsibilities during absences. Promote company products and programs, support margin goals and customer retention, and continuously improve processes. Requires strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills, with experience in building materials, surfacing, woodworking, or distribution preferred. Travel less than 10%; standard office environment.
