Job Summary
Respond promptly to customers in person, by phone, and via email to understand their goals and recommend signage solutions. Prepare accurate estimates, work orders, and proofs while maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, deposits, and project milestones. Coordinate with vendors, design, and production teams to ensure smooth handoffs, and conduct outbound calls to develop new business. Secure payments, manage open quotes, and support invoicing and administrative duties as needed. Maintain a professional front counter and lobby environment while protecting confidential information. This role serves as the first point of contact for Signarama of North Stonington, helping businesses build their brand through effective signage solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service, inside sales, retail, administration, or account coordination
- Excellent verbal and written communication, spelling, grammar, proofreading, data-entry, and follow-up skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
- Comfortable using email, phones, Microsoft 365, CRM/POS systems, and basic business math
- Working knowledge of basic sales, relationship-building, and telephone outreach principles
- Professional judgment, discretion, reliability, and a team-first approach
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and safely handle samples and routine office materials
