Inside Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct outbound calls to leads in trucking, logistics, and other B2B industries to identify and qualify new prospects for invoice factoring solutions. Independently execute the full sales cycle by assessing industry type, invoice volume, and customer creditworthiness to present cash flow strategies to small and medium-sized business owners. Maintain competitive knowledge of industry trends and competitors to adjust sales approaches and manage CRM databases. Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth onboarding while representing the bank at networking events. Requires 1-2 years of direct sales experience, phone sales proficiency, and occasional travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- 1-2 years of direct sales experience (B2B preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- 1+ years of business-to-business sales experience
- 1+ years of experience working within the transportation sector such as truck dispatch, freight broker or fuel card sales
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
- Phone sales experience required
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Knowledge of factoring, asset-based lending, and working capital solutions for small to mid-sized B2B companies
- Solid understanding of credit evaluation, risk assessment, and basic financial statements used during lead qualification
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess lead quality, spot trends, and identify strategic upsell opportunities
- Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written with a proven track record of building rapport and closing deals over the phone
- Strong Microsoft application knowledge particularly Excel (data entry, filtering, and basic formulas) Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Travel up to 10% is occasionally required, which may include overnight
- Willingness to attend networking events, industry functions, and community activities within the employee's metro area and surrounding vicinity
