Inside Sales Specialist, Parts - Defense

Job Summary

Serve as the primary inside sales contact for defense and government aftermarket parts customers, managing quotations, order processing, and technical inquiries while identifying cross-selling opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication, ensuring accurate pricing and timely follow-up to secure orders and maximize equipment readiness. Collaborate with Outside Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to coordinate expedited deliveries, maintain CRM records, and support strategic defense programs. Maintain compliance documentation and assist with contract renewals and onboarding initiatives. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with up to 30% travel, earning $28.00–$37.00 per hour.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, aftermarket parts sales, customer service, or defense/aerospace sales support.
  • Experience supporting customers in defense, military, government, aerospace, marine, power generation, diesel engine, or industrial equipment industries.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, ERP systems, and quoting software.
  • Knowledge of government contracting or regulated commercial environments is a plus.
  • Ability to understand technical product information and customer requirements.
