Job Summary
Inside Sales Specialist drives sales growth for Cameron Ashley’s Core 4 product categories (Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum, and Siding) within a defined geographic area. Responsibilities include proactive outreach to new and existing customers, outbound calls, processing orders and quotes, educating customers with market knowledge and product information, and developing growth strategies to expand market share. The role involves leveraging CRM and e-commerce tools, delivering compelling product knowledge, negotiating pricing, maintaining relationships with accounts, preparing weekly sales reports, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve targets. Travel up to 10% is expected, and a high school diploma or GED is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Experience in the building products industry helpful
- Up to 10% Travel
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass drug test and background verifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time
