Job Summary
Monitor the fulfillment mailbox and respond promptly to customer inquiries and parts orders while handling incoming calls for order support. Source accurate pricing and lead times from vendors and internal systems, then follow up on quoted requests to convert them into confirmed orders. Coordinate parts for repairs, manage parts orders, and perform branch-specific shipping and receiving activities, including operating forklifts and material-handling tasks. Assist with annual inventory and support team operations by performing additional duties as assigned. This customer service role ensures parts requests are handled accurately and efficiently within the Compressed Air industry.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, order processing, and/or parts sourcing in a fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Ability to manage timelines and complete all tasks as assigned
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- General computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Office-based customer support role
- Minimal travel, primarily for training and/or internal meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems (compressed air or rotating equipment is preferred)
