Job Summary
Serve a wide range of customers with needs including electrical, mechanical, industrial, and others. Handle sales inquiries and transactions while maintaining excellent communication skills through phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written channels. Demonstrate strong ethics and the ability to work independently or collaborate with team members. Submit a background check and drug testing as part of the hiring process. This Full-Time Inside Sales role is located at the Springfield, OH branch of Scott Electric Company, one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States. The position supports a diverse client base including general contractors, industry, government agencies, and retail hardware markets.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, including strong phone, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
- Sales experience with excellent customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical products
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Strong ethics and ability to work independently or collaborate with team members
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must submit a background check and drug testing
